Major Duties:

1. Ensure operational risk is inherently reduced and any potential risk situations are promptly identified and escalated

2. Provides support for complex derivative products. This may include settlements, trader support, client valuations etc

3. Assist staff with technical queries and provide coaching in the research and resolution of complex issues

4. Ensure a culture of continuous improvement exists throughout the team, encouraging staff to identify ways to improve processing and implement best market practice

5. Participate in system enhancement projects and oversee process improvement initiatives through to implementation

6. Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function

7. As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level

8. Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult

9. Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities

Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Strong knowledge in derivatives products
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to priorities multiple deliverables and work with minimum supervision.

Experience :

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required
Extensive knowledge and experience in derivatives operations is required
