Responsibilities




  • Conduct or participate in projects in HPLC, colorimetric, and residual assays. Project are typically small or part of larger projects. Position is a hands-on, laboratory-based, role.

  • Make observations, analyze data, and interpret results.

  • Present findings at internal meetings and/or contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and patent applications.

  • Prepares precise technical reports summaries, protocols, quantitative analyses, and maintains appropriate documentation.

  • Serve as a scientific mentor to other lab personnel.

  • Demonstrate expertise to independently support all concentration and bio-separation assays, e.g., HPLC, colorimetric, residual assays, etc.

  • Demonstrate expertise to make mAb and vaccine project supports, work with scientists to do method development /and investigations.




Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences or a related discipline.

  • Two (2) years of experience in biology or a related field.

  • Demonstrates experience working in a laboratory environment. Demonstrates knowledge of maintaining accurate and detailed records.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of proper laboratory disposal methods and safety procedures.

  • Must be a team player who can effectively work with members from cross-functional departments.

  • Expected to work independently or in collaboration with others.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with computer software including word processing, data evaluation, and project timeline management.
