RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a regional accounting firm is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant focused on Tax located in Wayne, NJ.

Summary:
In this role you will assist a variety of clients in preparing corporate, partnership & individual tax returns. The Staff Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial statements, analyze accounting books, records, and financial statements. You will also assist with tax and audit engagement planning and work with client accounting records and software, including QuickBooks. The role offers excellent opportunity to learn and advance as well as get the required experience to obtain a CPA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science/Business Administration of Science in Accounting or Master's in Accounting or in progress of obtaining a Masters


• Relevant internships, summer positions or school jobs


• Ability to travel to clients when required


• Experience with Microsoft Office


• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills


• Leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities


• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments with a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
