A Digital Strategy Manager is accountable for supervising and managing a team of Digital Strategists, overseeing the daily affairs of their clients' needs in such things as: client meetings, app and file builds (including groups, tags, and rules), ongoing engagement strategy, design projects, and team communication. The Digital Strategy Manager's focus is on client relations, implementations, engagement strategy, and managing their team. The role requires extensive benefits knowledge and project management background.
The Digital Strategy Manager works with the VP Operations (Enspire Product) and the Managers of the App Design, Localization, Creative Design, and Technology Teams to assure their Digital Strategy Team is accomplishing tasks and maintaining compliance. They are responsible for training new Digital Strategists, as well as assuring their team has extensive knowledge about the Enspire Platform and implementation processes.
The Digital Strategy Manager's oversees and is ultimately responsible for the Digital Strategy Team's workload, performance, quality, and growth for all custom branded employee engagement apps, ensuring that they drive client goals and initiatives using Empyrean's Enspire product's code free platform.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of Digital Strategists (all levels)
Oversee the Digital Strategy Team's implementations and maintenance of a client's strategy, vision, and design solutions to set direction and align with executive leadership, including but not limited to:
Engagement Strategy
Analytics
Quality Assurance of apps
Client Retention
Strong knowledge of employee benefits
Ability to learn a proprietary code free platform to design custom branded, employee engagement apps for end users that drive client goals
Provide leadership on projects to have intuitive app concepts, employee engagement, and inspire innovative design/benefit thinking
Train and oversee Digital Strategists (all levels) on all aspects of an app including but not limited to implementation processes, new and ongoing app builds, open enrollment and new year seasons, and quality assurance processes
Interview Digital Strategy Team candidates and perform performance reviews
Manage internal escalations arising from clients
Integrate employee benefits and programs into digital initiatives
Maintain work portfolios and provide status updates and progress reports to Operations
Ensure the quality delivery of all services as per the client's Statement of Work
Hold aligned resources accountable for behaviors that support Empyrean's policies and procedures
Execute and update processes and templates in Asana provided by the VP of Operations, Enspire
Cooperate with cross-functional members of the team to ensure proper completion of work as it relates to the goals of the project or task at hand
Display initiative and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, working within set deadlines
Create and manage app updates and client new build projects assigned
Ensure the quality delivery of all client apps and engagement strategy
Ensure the appropriate integration between the App Design, Design, and Technology Teams, communicating design recommendations (to be shared with clients)
Escalate staffing shortages to the VP of Operations, Enspire
Manage client satisfaction in conjunction with the Implementation Manager and other Digital Strategist Teams
NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in Business Development Activities, such as client demos and app page templates/experiences
Must maintain HIPAA certification
