Your Role: Order To Cash (OTC) Analyst, Commercial Operations

You will be responsible for the US Order to cash business processes within SAP S4 Hana and associated systems.  This role supports the existing needs of the Elanco US Customer Experience business as Subject Matter Expert for SAP Order to Cash activities. You will ensure daily order to cash and inventory management functions (order processing, IDOC/inventory monitoring and resolution, invoicing, and call center operations) are operating as designed and following appropriate local business processes. 

Your Responsibilities

• Provide support for the O2C processes or the US Affiliate.


• Provide Order entry support including (but not limited to) sales orders, returns/credits, samples.


• Provide subject matter expertise across Commercial and Supply business areas and application portfolios, with a comprehensive knowledge of commercial and supply chain requirements. 


• Collaborate with IT teams to support daily maintenance, compliance, and functionality in ERP, Data Management, Pricing Tools, and new transformation systems.


• Provide support for Centers of Excellence and similar services to optimize resources and customer experiences.


• Daily activities to ensure timely shipments to customers

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• High School Diploma


• 3+ years relevant experience


• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills


• In-depth knowledge of commercial processes, including pricing, master data, logistics, and supply chain


• Demonstrated experience in working effectively with teams and across functions, including sales and marketing, finance, supply chain, customer service, and IT. 


• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience working in the Animal Health or Pharmaceutical industry.


• Strong understanding of Sarbanes Oxley control requirements and how to apply to daily processing to ensure compliance


• Experience in building new business processes or systems from strategy to implementation.


• Some technical experience with sales data and systems such as (SAP, Tableau, Veeva/CRM systems)


• Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash activities across the business including Customer Service, Logistics, Finance and A/R functions
