Location: Lowell, MA

Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Director of Social Services


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• The primary purpose of this role is to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of our facility's Social Services Department. As a Director of Social Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
  
  

Administrative Duties:



Assist in developing and administering department policies and procedures. Review policies/procedures annually and recommend changes. Complete required documentation, forms, and reports. Assist in arranging transportation for residents when necessary. Provide information on financial assistance programs to residents/families. Assist in reviewing and updating job descriptions annually. Delegate authority and make recommendations to the Director. Standardize methods and provide solutions for residents' social/practical needs.



Qualifications & Requirements:

• The job requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, at least 1 year of supervised experience in healthcare, and Massachusetts Licensure
