The Critical Care Transport Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of care and medical plan of care in the pre-hospital and in hospital environment in collaboration with all disciplines. The Critical Care Transport nurse may also provide assistance throughout the hospital as needed, dependent on call volume and completion of other assigned duties.

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Certification and Licensure
PA Registered Nurse License
PA DOH Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse (PHRN) Certification
TNCC/ITLS/PHTLS within 1 year of hire
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification & PALS Certification
Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator Certification obtained within 60 days of hire date
National Incident Management System (NIMS) 700, 800, 100 & 200 training obtained within 60 days of hire date
Hazmat Awareness or higher Training obtained within 60 days of hire date
Current Valid Driver's License
Obtain unrestricted Medical Command authorization to practice within 90 days of hire and maintain unrestricted Medical Command authorization to practice while employed.
