Inventory Material Handler at Weatherford in Broussard, Louisiana

Job Description:

Our Material Handlers are responsible for coordinating inventory levels and assisting product lines in acquiring, maintaining, receiving, shipping, and consumption of inventory/assets.


Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensure inventory accuracy through conducting all inventory transactions related to shipping, receiving, work orders and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain, track, and forecast inventory on an ongoing basis.
• Run and initiate cycle count reports.
• Receive, store, distribute, and shipment of inventory.
• Safely operates forklifts, cranes, scissor lift as needed.
• Provide variance explanation, if needed.
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year general inventory experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with fellow employees

Preferred Requirements:

• JDE/SAP Experience
• Basic Forkift Experience
