Staff Accountant - Newton, MA



Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant with advanced Excel skills to primarily handle internal audits and depreciation tasks. The ideal candidate will be crucial in maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audits to evaluate the accuracy and integrity of financial records and processes.


• Analyze and validate depreciation schedules, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.


• Prepare and review financial statements and reports related to audit results and depreciation.


• Work closely with other departments to collect data and address discrepancies.


• Develop and implement enhancements to internal audit procedures and depreciation calculations.
