Job Summary

Provides direct patient care and support to Licensed Nursing and Medical Staff within the scope of the Certified Medical Assistant.

Sells Hospital, AZ

Specialty: Medical Assistant (MA) in the Emergency Department

• Provides direct patient care in a small Emergency Room. Duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site limited to: vital signs, screenings, collecting swabs (Covid, flu),running lab specimens to lab, obtaining EKGs, assisting/moving patients to the bathroom, preparing the room for medical procedures. Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned.
• Works and supports MD and RN

Weekly Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts, Rotating 36/48 Hour Schedule

Patient volume per day:

• 10-30

Credentialing: 2-5 Weeks
