Job Description:

As a Premium Technology Sales Designer, you'll provide expertise and design proposals to customers seeking premium technology solutions. You'll conduct sales both in retail stores and in homes, including third-party businesses within your assigned market. You'll also partner with outside sales to coordinate all aspects of each project from beginning to end. You'll oversee product delivery, installation and implementation to build and maintain customer relationships. This includes post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.<br><br>This role offers a target annual compensation potential of $105,000 based on a pay rate of $15 per hour (or legal minimum wage based on location, if higher) and a variable commission plan based on individual sales.<br><br><strong>What you'll do</strong><ul><li>Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences and budget to provide expert advice and recommendations</li><li>Maintain expert knowledge of all products within the premium category, including specifications, features and benefits</li><li>Stay informed about the latest technology trends and product releases through continuous learning and professional development</li><li>Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns professionally, ensuring a positive experience</li><li>Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, including customer feedback and market trends</li><li>Use effective time management strategies to optimize daily tasks and responsibilities</li></ul> <strong>Basic qualifications</strong><ul><li>2 years of customer relationship management experience or military service equivalent</li><li>2 years of experience managing a personal book of business</li><li>2 years of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields</li><li>2 years of sales experience in specialty products, luxury brands, custom design or premium products</li><li>Current, valid driver's license</li><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)</li><li>Acquire gain and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire</li></ul> <strong>Preferred qualifications</strong><ul><li>Previous experience driving strategic business initiatives</li><li>2 years of experience in project management</li><li>2 years of leadership experience in business, military or related fields</li></ul> <strong>What's in it for you</strong><br><br>We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
