Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

Description ~


The Safety Director plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of all workers in the manufacturing process. The position is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections and audits, providing safety training, and analyzing safety data. This person provides leadership and direction to a team of safety members and collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the industrial manufacturing process.



Requirements ~



• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field


• 5+ years' experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting, and a proven track record of success in developing and implementing safety programs.


•Certifications: CSP, OSHA 30, Forklift trainer, Aerial/Scissor lift trainer, CPR & First Aid.


• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and codes relevant to industrial manufacturing is required. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures is a must.


• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team of safety members is essential.


• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials is desirable, as the director of safety must be able to identify potential safety hazards associated with these aspects of the manufacturing process.
