Job Summary:





The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities within the food/beverage manufacturing facility. This includes planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.



Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
  
  
  
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules, including preventive maintenance tasks, predictive maintenance strategies, and emergency repairs.
  
  
  • Utilize CMMS software to track and manage maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Team Leadership:
  
  
  
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills, training, and resources to effectively perform their duties.
  
  
  • Motivate and develop team members to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Mechanical and Electrical Expertise:
  
  
  
  • Possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance techniques.
  
  
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Budget Management:
  
  
  
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  
  
  • Monitor maintenance expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Regulatory Compliance:
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, OSHA standards, and food safety regulations.
  
  
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Continuous Improvement:
  
  
  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant efficiency.
  
  
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in maintenance management.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• 5-7 years of experience in maintenance leadership within a food/beverage manufacturing facility.


• Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and executing successful maintenance programs.


• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.


• Proficiency in using CMMS software.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Lean Six Sigma certification.


• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, infrared thermography).


• Knowledge of automation and control systems.
