Adult Reconstruction



Are you a dedicated orthopedic surgeon with a passion for hip and knee replacement surgery? Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a prestigious affiliate of Massachusetts General Brigham, invites you to join our well-established, skilled team. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible orthopedic surgeon, ideally fellowship-trained in hip and knee replacement or with a minimum of five years of dedicated experience in this field.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform advanced hip and knee replacement surgeries, including primary and revision procedures.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Share equally in general orthopedic call, currently at 1:6, contributing to a collaborative and supportive on-call system.

  • Engage in patient-centered care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and outcomes.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development, mentoring, and research activities.


Our Team:



Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a hub of expertise, providing specialized treatment and prevention for musculoskeletal issues. Our holistic approach integrates personalized services within our practice and with other healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Our team includes 6 orthopedic surgeons, a physiatrist, and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), all working together in our newly expanded, state-of-the-art facility.

  • State-of-the-Art Office: Our West Hatfield location features onsite radiology, physical and occupational therapy, and a wellness and sports performance center. We also offer outpatient access in our Amherst and Greenfield locations.


  • Modern Operating Rooms: Experience our newest wing with large, technologically advanced operating rooms and primary post-operative units.


  • High Surgical Volume: We perform an average of 500-700 primary and revision joint replacements annually, with plans for expansion and a commitment to best practices and collaborative care.


Compensation and Benefits:




  • Competitive Salary: For a 1.0 FTE role, enjoy an annual base compensation of $600,000, guaranteed for the first two years and then productivity-based.
