The Accounting (AR/Billing) Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions, monitoring customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection of payments.

JOB DUTIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Create invoices and send to customers
Post customer payments and deposits to accounts receivable system
Reconcile customer accounts and research payment discrepancies
Initiate collections on past-due accounts
Provide status updates to management
Assist with month-end close activities as it relates to accounts receivable
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
1-2+ years of accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced environment
Associate or Bachelros degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred, not required
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to self-check work and follow up on outstanding items
Experience with data entry, 10-key by touch, and calculator
Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel, and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
Basic to intermediate computer and typing skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
