Job Description:



Seeking a Sr. ERP Application Design Analyst near Charlotte, NC to support the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of core Business systems including ERP and ERP-integrated enterprise applications. In this role, the Sr. ERP Application Design Analyst will work closely with members from an International IT Supported businesses in the Asahi Kasei portfolio to gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, application change requests and systems improvements. The Sr. ERP Application Design Analyst is also responsible for generating documentation as prescribed by the Project Plan and Implementation Methodology.


You will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of implementing ERP and other ERP related investments as well as help support team to find causes of issues and define a solution or a workaround. The Sr. ERP Application Design Analyst must have strong skills in analysis and global solution design, being able to perform workshops with business to clarify and understand the requirements rather than the foreseen solution, in order to suggest other options which integrates better in a global solution. They should also have some technical knowledge in Development and SQL, to help in analysis and issues troubleshooting.


This position is #hybrid - location Charlotte, NC (1-2 days in the office each week)

Key Accountabilities



The Sr. ERP Application Design Team missions includes:


> Analysis, Configuration and Customization


  • Meet with decision makers, stakeholders, and business analysts to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, in order to clarify gaps or resolve systems issues.

  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new solutions for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.



> Implementation support


  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new ERP implementations, and enhancements to existing applications and bespoke solutions.

  • Support new system configuration, data migration, training, user acceptance testing and go live support activities.



> Operational Management


  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.

  • Create system design proposals and specifications to solve identified solution gaps, while minimizing customizations to the core software solution.

  • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system developers.

  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

  • Provide maintenance to standard documentation in support of IT team activities and training.

  • Provide orientation and training to Support Team for modified and new systems.

  • Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.


Qualifications




Education Background:



  • College diploma, university degree, or equivalent business experience in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 5 years related work experience.

  • Microsoft Certifications on D365 Finance & Operations Fundamentals preferred.


Knowledge & Experience:



  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of ERP solutions, systems, or products.

  • Experience with ERP implementation methodology as a consultant, developer or as an end user.

  • Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.

  • Database application architecture, SQL query.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office.



Travel requirement - up to 20%, domestic and international
