Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer - Treasury Management. As the Sr. Staff Engineer, you will work as part of a team to design, model, build, and implement Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) and other applications to support treasury and finance functions. You will also work on other applications and platforms under Corporate Systems segment in accordance with the strategic needs of the company. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist with a practical data engineering mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters teamwork.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Develop/Enhance functional capabilities using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) system.
Ensure and assist in regulatory compliance by updating models and configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QRM with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate risk assessments.
Configuration and testing of new product features.
Implementing strategic architectural changes.
Identify and address technical issues, system bugs, and performance bottlenecks in QRM platforms promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
Collaborate with business partners and other team members to understand and refine business requirements and operational processes.
Work closely with enterprise data, architecture, and other team members to design an appropriate solution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
8+ years of development/implementation experience with 4+ years directly supporting treasury, liquidity/capital risk, or related functions.
Experience with Windows platform and building/maintaining/upgrading QRM environments.
Experience with MS SQL Server including maintenance tasks and disaster recovery.
Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data design.
Experience with design tools as it relates to creating conceptual architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams such as Visio, Lucidchart
Experience building applications using modern programming standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Azure DevOps/ServiceNow
Working knowledge of monitoring and managing applications/systems in a Cloud environment and integration with SaaS applications.
Experience with ETL platforms is a plus
Experience with financial modeling and liquidity risk solution implementations
Knowledge of financial models within the QRM framework
Knowledge of Windows Events and Windows performance monitoring tools.
