Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a keen interest in developing scalable backend subsystems to join our team. We are building and improving a powerful platform that will automate diagnosis and repair of a cluster of GPUs or CPUs across public clouds, private clouds and virtual and physical hardware.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and implementing new features for a distributed platform that automates diagnosis and repair of a cluster of GPUs or CPUs across public clouds, private clouds and virtual and physical hardware.
  
  


• Adding new functionality related to network topology aware resource subsystem in a cluster of GPUs
  
  


• Developing scalable components within a distributed backend in Go and Rust programming languages
  
  


• Optimizing performance for various backend modules
  
  


• Implementing distributed and time-partitioned persistence store in Rust
  
  


• Delivering high impact projects with high quality, performance and stability with the lowest resource consumption
  
  


• Developing a robust feedback control system that analyzes signals about system health and automatically runs commands to fix discovered issues
  
  
  

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  
  


• At least 2 years of Software Engineering experience
  
  


• Proficiency in programming in C/C++,, Rust or Go.
  
  


• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures
  
  


• Drive to excel
  
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Good understanding of multi-threading and distributed systems concepts
  
  


• Familiarity in optimizing SQL queries
  
  


• Knowledge of Rust programming

The base salary range is 120,000 USD - 189,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
