The Executive Operations Specialist provides operational and administrative support to the President and the Office of the President. The individual ensures the Office of the President runs smoothly by managing the flow of information, communications, and operations. This position is considered expert level and performs work of high priority and sensitivity. The incumbent works independently with minimal supervision. This position has no direct reports.

Your Responsibilities


  • Organizes, prioritizes, and proactively manages the identification and gathering of materials and information relevant to the President’s schedule, activities, and engagements.

  • Coordinates with subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery of briefing materials and clear processes are in place for effective meetings.

  • Develops and distributes the President’s daily briefing book, responsible for gathering all relevant information and meeting materials in a timely manner.

  • Plans and directs travel arrangements, proactively managing inter-department coordination, reimbursement, and related policy compliance.

  • Independently manages confidential and non-routine information. Supports and assists in planning, communication and execution of President and Office of the President meetings with minimal managerial oversight.

  • Performs administrative tasks accurately, timely and with discretion on behalf of the Office of the President.

  • Coordinates other small to large projects on behalf of the Office of the President and/or participates in larger District strategic projects.

  • Supports and assists in process/project management improvements within the Office of the President.

Your Background


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2-6 years of experience in executive office operational management and/or coordination preferred

  • Expert level interpersonal, analytical, organizational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and punctuality

  • Expert project management skills Exhibits excellent judgment and high levels of professional etiquette and discretion to handle sensitive and/or confidential situations

  • In-depth knowledge of department, Federal Reserve System and District practices, policies, and programs

  • Expert level problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Service oriented, team player and flexible to meet changing business needs

  • Expert level proficiency in Office support software and ability to learn new applications

Additional Requirements:


  • This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of four days per week in office.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take approximately two months to be completed.
