General Diesel LLC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor/Writer. As a Service Advisor/Writer, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.
**Responsibilities:**- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs- Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicles and provide accurate cost estimates- Recommend necessary services and repairs based on vehicle inspections- Generate service orders and invoices, and process payments- Maintain customer records and follow up with customers after service appointments- Collaborate with service technicians & parts employees to ensure timely completion of repairs
**Requirements:**- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is a plus- High school diploma or equivalent- Must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule- Experience using Fullbay shop software a plus
**Salary Range:**$20 to $25 per hour
