Job Title: Lead Receptionist & Facilities Coordinator
Reports to: Office & Facilities Manager
Location: Goleta, CA - In Office
The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide operational in-office support for the Deckers Brands Global Headquarters in Goleta. The Lead Receptionist & Facilities Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the reception area. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the front desk and supporting facilities management as needed to ensure efficient operation of the workplace at a high level. The ideal candidate is someone who already has a proven track record in Reception and/ or Facilities Coordinator Operations and is interested in pursuing a career in Facilities.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Greet and welcome visitors with a positive, professional attitude. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails. Determines nature of business and directs visitors or phone inquiries to the proper recipient.
Supports building security and workspace management. Monitors visitor access and sign in procedure. Issues passes and ID badges when required. Assist the Office & Facilities Manager with space planning and maintaining the seating chart. Print name tags for cubicles.
Provides information regarding campus amenities, services, and special events; may be responsible for sending out campus-wide communications as it relates to any of the said categories. Address workspace issues in a timely manner and provide updates to conclusion
Provide administrative support to the campus as needed including the Executive Suite and Brands. Work closely with other Deckers Admins, Deckers Communications Team, and the Events team. Liaise with Building Management and external vendors for campus-related services. Maintain records and documentation related to office management and records retention policy.
Assist the Facilities Management Team with general campus operations including but not limited to monitoring and ordering office supplies and equipment as needed, Assist in the planning and execution of office events and meetings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office. Member and point person of the first responders' team and disaster preparedness lead. Vendor management, PO creation, and basic Oracle duties receiving and correcting receipts. Manages PO/Vendor list.
Act as the Lead Receptionist when reception headcount expands. Assists the Office & Facilities Manager with reception team direction and facilities ticket management system and delegating day to day tasks while ensuring building coverage.
Who You Are
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications and Microsoft Teams
Basic Oracle knowledge or willingness to learn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, able to maintain a safe, clean and free of clutter reception area
Deals with problem situations in a professional manner
Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Highly motivated team player and self-starter
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
A keen eye for detail, skilled organizer and planner
Able to interact expertly with employees of all levels within the organization
Experienced in delivering excellent customer service both in person, by phone, and online
We'd love to hear from people with
2+ years previous experience in a Reception and/ or Facilities Coordinator role preferred
2+ years' experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Associate degree or bachelor's degree a plus but not required.
Previous reception experience essential
Basic knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
Basic knowledge of Oracle for Vendor and PO management

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
