Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Senior Java Developer to join their team.

Summary:
This company has a few separate apps that perform similar things, and they want to create one full new app and integrate everything into one experience. The backend will be all Java/Springboot/Cassandra, while the front end will be all React. An understanding of TDD is important (they are using cypress currently). They are also looking to move to 100% cloud running on GCP. Candidates with GCP experience are a big plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience with Java; Ideally with Java 11+ (Lambdas and streams)


• Experience with Springboot


• Experience with TDD (Junit)


• Experience with cloud is a big plus (they use GCP)


• Experience with React is a plus


• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
