This position is responsible for assisting with start-up and stacking frozen product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturday work, 7:00AM - Production end;
Starting pay rate: $17.30/hr
Load set-up table, opening and stacking meat with 40 lbs blocks of frozen meat continuously for 8 hrs. Understand and set-up meat according to a formulation sheet. Assist chopper operator. Help set-up line at the start of the shift. All other duties assigned by Supervisor. Follow safe work practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required. Follow all sanitary procedures and policies.
Requirements:

Must be a full-time team member and have completed the 90-day probationary period. If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.
Must not have a self-demotion or declined a job bid in the last six (6) months, unless the bid is to a higher class.
Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.
Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.

Rehire Criteria: This facility does accept rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than 2 previous times. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
