McClure Engineering is seeking a Project Administrator to work alongside other talented engineers and designers dedicated to engineering excellence on a wide range of projects. This person will also work heavily with our superstar team of project coordinators and interact regularly with other business operations departments.
The McClure team takes pride in the firms collective depth and breadth of knowledge and believes engineering excellence is driven by the fundamentals of math and science along with an intuition about all things mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, this position is responsible for various administrative duties surrounding a wide range of engineering projects and providing support for the firms daily business operations.
The Opportunity:
Maintain project information and document organization Format, proofread, and finalize project-related documents for completeness and quality, then expedite issuance to client at the direction of team leaders and project managers (proposals, reports, memos, etc..) Set up new projects in firms database (Vantagepoint), and update existing project information as needed Organize new project files, update as necessary, and storage/archive preparation Assist in tracking project deadlines and updating project work plans on a weekly basis Maintain design and construction logs for record keeping (RFIs, change orders, punch lists, shop drawings, pay apps, etc.) Generate various types of project reports through the firms database as needed Update current and historical project databases (dates, costs, capacities, etc.) Assist in setting up project meetings and coordinating participants schedules Assist Project Managers and Team Members with reviewing and distributing meeting minutes and notes as appropriate for design and construction meetings, as needed Back up reception duties, as needed
*This is a dynamic role that may see opportunity to perform other duties as need arises.

The Required Capabilities and Credentials:
High-school Diploma; formal training in project administration preferred but not requiredMinimum of two years applicable administrative experienceProficiency in MS Office with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; prior experience with OneNote, Teams and Project Management/billing software is a plus

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
The work environment is primarily indoors at firms facility, with approximately 10% of time spent indoors/outdoors at project or construction sites where hard-hat and other safety gear is often required. (PPE is provided by firm.)While performing field work associated with this position employees will be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and carry and/or climb ladders of varying heights. The employee may lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
