Job Description
Responsibilities include managing onboarding and laboratory training. Work collaboratively with leadership and supervisor to develop training modules, technical training programs and procedures that support corporate objectives and comply with best business practices for operations staff and goals. Help to implement defined training programs to promote workforce productivity, stability and development. Developing systems for work processes within the group; all duties to be performed in an accurate and efficient manner, with the highest level of quality with ability to work independently. Trains other training specialists and may serve as system administrator for electronic training system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Conduct onboarding and laboratory training for new hires
Manages all training, courses and documents in the electronic training system
Consults with organizational leadership and staff to assess training needs
Develops the content and format of training materials for the training program
Maintains current expertise in all related external regulatory requirements, technology, and internal systems, processes and procedures
Sets priorities and manages time effectively
Electronic Training system duties as assigned
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Must be able to work independently, with good problem solving skills
Must be able to work under deadlines
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Learn and become proficient in performing onboarding training and the core laboratory training.
Communicate efficiently with Operations.
Technical ability to work within the electric training management system.
Minimum of three years of training or laboratory experience in a regulated laboratory or manufacturing environment or higher education in the sciences.
Bachelor's degree with strong science background, preferably an advanced degree in chemistry.
Additional Information
Position is a full time Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
