Our client is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent / Senior Superintendent to join their team!
As the ideal candidate, a minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with expertise in excavation, site work, utilities, wet and dry utilities, sewer, watermains, and grading. The candidate should also have experience in drainage and/or dewatering. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations of construction projects from start to finish.
As the Superintendent Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the construction process including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety. You will supervise and manage on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors and ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also ensure that all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and protocols and provide regular progress reports (look forward 2 weeks ahead) to the project manager and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, understanding of construction industry regulations and standards, ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Construction or Engineering or Experience within the Related Field.
