We are looking for a Commercial Lines AMS 360 Training Lead and Support Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance agency management systems, particularly AMS360, and will be responsible for training and supporting our staff in the effective use of the system. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to translate complex system functionalities into easy-to-understand training sessions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Onboarding: Onboard new employees into AMS360, ensuring they are familiar with the system and can use it effectively.

Training: Own and ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the AMS360 training program. Train new and current staff, creating digital tutorials and documentation. Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.

User Support: Working with the current AMS360 Administrator to ensure consistency and effectiveness in training and system usage. Provide comprehensive user assistance, identify widespread issues, and troubleshoot effectively. Train others in troubleshooting and tool usage.

Reporting: Serve as an expert in generating and interpreting reports from AMS360. Develop reporting solutions for data-driven analysis, train users on reporting features, and provide guidance on data extraction, analysis, and interpretation.

User Engagement: Regularly meet with users and management to enhance user experience, competence, productivity, and overall system success.

Audits: Review accounts in AMS360 to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, and work with the operations team to develop solutions for any identified errors.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vertafore AMS360 Expertise: Possess a strong background in Vertafore AMS360 system, demonstrating deep knowledge and proficiency in its functionalities. Prior accounting experience in AMS360 is advantageous, and experience in Insurlink, BenefitPoint, and WorkSmart is a valuable plus.
  • Proficient Insurance Agency Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in understanding day-to-day insurance business processes and workflows. Prior experience with insurance agency operations is a must.
  • Detail Orientation: Pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to anticipate and respond effectively to diverse and sensitive needs as they arise.
  • Training: Preference for prior training experience in the retail insurance industry.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent oral and written English communication skills, enabling clear and engaging presentations in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Continuous Learning: Be proactive in self-learning and adapting to additional technology tools that may be required to excel in the role.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and provide sound conclusions.
  • Adaptability and Growth: Embrace a flexible mindset and a commitment to personal and professional growth, allowing for the accommodation of evolving intricacies associated with the role.
  • Team Player and Multitasking: Display a strong ability to work as part of a team while efficiently multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Ideally, possess proficiency in various tech platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams), Zoom, Google Suite, and more.
  • Travel Capability: Be prepared to travel to local offices in Utah and NM, and attend yearly AMS conferences, and other related events if required.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and consistently demonstrating integrity in all professional interactions.
