This is a great opportunity for a visionary President to partner with the CEO/Chairman who is looking to transition out of the day-to-day operations. The Company is a field-based service business in the Fort Myers area with another local office and they have a great reputation in the area. You will be joining at a time where there will be opportunities to expand.
As President, you will play a critical role driving revenues and the operations of the business to standardize and professionalize how things are done. You must be a commercially driven executive with operations leadership and have a track record of growing revenues in blue-collar services businesses; ideally at a PE backed organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the overall growth strategy to expand market share within existing channels and with current customer base.
Identify and pursue new customers within existing and new markets throughout Florida.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization
Set company revenue and profit goals by division/product line.
Manage and motivate a capable set of functional leaders to achieve revenue and profitability growth objectives.
Utilize available resources and financial statements to determine progress in achieving objectives; revise objectives and plans in accordance with current and/or changing conditions.
Identify and improve on operational deficiencies; continue to professionalize the business as it scales.
Communicate with the Board on an ongoing basis and present to Board on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities with 5+ years of executive management experience.
Experience leading a $50M - 150M blue-collar field service service business selling B2C and B2B. Examples include lawn care, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
Track record of robust sales growth and expanding profitability along with improving operational performance within a field-based service business.
Strong preference for a proven general athlete with exceptional drive, passion, and history of results.
Superior business acumen and P&L management experience required.
Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, motivate, and retain exceptional talent.
Prior experience successfully leading and growing a private equity backed business highly desired.
Results-oriented with the ability to set and exceed exceptional revenue and profit targets.
Strong analytic, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
