Senior Payroll Manager

Our PE backed client is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to join their Plymouth Meeting, PA headquarters. Hybrid work environment.

The Senior Payroll Manager will oversee a team of four. The ideal candidate should have experience with Workday, hourly payroll, as well as process mapping and putting controls in place. Relocation assistance available!

Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Manager
  • Overseeing accurate and timely payroll processing and payments
  • Ensuring payroll procedures and policies are in compliance with regulations, internal controls, and organization policies
  • Resolving tax issues and payroll reconciliation
  • Coordinating management and regulatory reporting preparation
  • Supporting audit processes
  • Ensuring payroll liabilities, tax filing, reporting, and other requirements compliance
  • Utilizing software to accurately enter payroll codes
  • Managing ticket process to ensure payroll corrections and questions resolution

Requirements of the Senior Payroll Manager
  • 10+ years experience with payroll management that includes knowledge of payroll privacy laws/regulations, processing, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Payroll information systems enhancement and conversions experience
  • CPP preferred
  • Workday experience required
  • Knowledge of multi-state environment payroll tax compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Excellent leadership abilities

Additional Details:

Compensation: To $140k + bonus

Employment type: direct hire

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
