Position Summary
The Facilities Engineer oversees and supervises the activities within the powerhouse area, total plant responsibility for HVAC, steam, buildings, and to manage and assist on projects in the Engineering Department. Direct the activities of personnel supporting varied plant areas for maximum efficiency at minimum cost in accordance with corporate and division policies and health and safety regulations. More specifically this role is for the powerhouse, water, wastewater, HVAC, and buildings operations.
Education and Requirements
BS Engineering is preferred, but not required (Will look at experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance management in a manufacturing plant environment with a 24/7/365 day or similar multi shift operation - ideally in chemical processing or heavy manufacturing
Leadership experience of a team of at least 5, our team consists of 10-14 skilled employees
Able to manage multiple projects, determine priorities, organizes and schedules people and tasks
Specific experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, water treatment, electrical system maintenance and compressed air systems is preferred
Solid previous leadership experience and communication skills, collaborative, people oriented engineer
Problem solving, recommendation and resolution skills, with the ability to drive change
Initiative and Creativity
Strong Microsoft 365 skills MS Office. Will create training decks, needs to have PowerPoint experience
