TITLE: Manufacturing Supervisor: Parts Plant, CAD, & CNC
Exempt position; 40-45 hours per week. Your schedule is negotiable.
Salary $76-84k per year.
Monthly profit-sharing bonuses (currently greater than $10,000 per year).
(2) Weeks paid vacation + holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Manufacturing Supervisor is an integral member of the GRLC Management Team with a specific focus in Manufacturing and CAD supervision. The Manufacturing Manager is a direct report to the Plant Manager.
Parts Plant: Responsible for coordination, planning and execution of cut lists, sub-assembly manufacturing, and staging in support of cabin production.
CAD: Responsible for supervising the AutoCAD Draftsperson to support manufacturing. AutoCAD customization may require approximately 6-8 hours per cabin. The AutoCAD Draftperson is a direct report to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
CNC: Integrate newly acquired CNC machine for log fabrication into the Parts Plant. This new project will require the Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate and manage subcontracted programming to implement this new equipment.
Manages and supervises shop floor personnel in the final cabin cleaning, preparation for shipping, photographing completed cabins, facility cleanliness, and cabin storage yard work & staging.
Contracts and coordinates shipping of completed cabins to commercial customers.
Other projects as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
Productivity is measured by revenue per labor hour.
Profitability is determined by monthly financial statements.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC. The successful candidate can come from almost any discipline in manufacturing. GRLC is a small, well capitalized, nimble manufacturer. You will have the opportunity to work in a wider array of disciplines than one typically would in a large manufacturing environment.
Mandatory pre-employment drug screen.
Must have a minimum of 3 years AutoCAD experience.
Must have some experience w CNC machining
Must have a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead and achieve results through others.
Must be a capable problem solver.
Interpersonal skills to effectively work with others inside & outside GRC.
Ability to serve internal customers to ensure timely drawings and leadership on the parts plant floor.
Should have an understanding of home construction and building materials.
Proficient with MS OFFICE to include Excel, Word, and Email.
