Job Title: General Manager with construction experience.
Overview:
We seek an experienced Construction General Manager with a strong background in construction management, team development, and P&L expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing and directing operations, working closely with various Department Managers and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish. This role requires a strategic thinker who can formulate policies, manage daily operations, and drive company success through effective leadership and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with Department Managers to streamline project operations and achieve company goals.
Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction or program improvement.
Directly oversee the Administrative Department to ensure excellent client service.
Coordinate financial and budget activities with the Finance Department to optimize operations and investments.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in collaboration with staff members.
In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, perform personnel functions, including selection, training, and evaluation.
Oversee the development of marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and sales promotions, with the Office Manager and Marketing Manager.
Provide recommendations to the Owner and make staffing decisions to maintain company standards and operations.
Uphold company standards, ethics, employee morale, and values, taking necessary actions to address deficiencies.
