Job Description:

Dynojet Research is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services necessary for our operations. While expertise in general procurement is essential, experience in purchasing PCBA and or wire harnesses is a significant advantage. The Senior Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, ensuring that the company's requirements for quality, cost, and delivery are met or exceeded.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, including pricing, lead times, and service agreements.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing, and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Cost Management: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory while avoiding stockouts.
  • Purchase Orders: Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, including pricing fluctuations, availability, and technological advancements, particularly in the electronics sector.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their needs and provide timely procurement support.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior buyers, sharing expertise and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation.
  • Proven experience in electronic purchasing is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in driving cost savings and vendor consolidations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience holding Quartlery Business Review with top strategic suppliers
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with experience in ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.
  • Possible travel up to 25%
