Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Engineer at Ivanhoe Industries in Zion, IL. The Process Engineer will be responsible for identifying, defining, and implementing process improvements in a mid-size chemical plant with the goals of improving batch yield, first-pass quality, cycle time and product costs. The position will drive the use, implementation, and effectiveness of our ISO Program and support the introduction of process optimization and automation as appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
At least 2 years of experience in hands-on process improvement in a batch processing chemical plant environment.
Experience developing and using analytical methods to drive sustained process improvements.
Process Design and Process Engineering skills
Process Control and Chemical Engineering expertise
Strong Analytical Skills
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes
Experience with process improvement and optimization
Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing
