About us

Funder by Genesis Products is a growing organization in Mocksville, NC. We are looking to increase the our talent capabilities in the areas of manufacturing operations. We are currently looking to fill experienced machine assistant operators; we value experience in Edge banding Machining, particularly HOMAG, Straight Line (contour) and STEFANI. Job Responsibilities 

• Assist to operate, maintain and troubleshoot repair Homag, Stefani and Straight (contour) Edge-banders.


• Assist to prepare and do basic setup machine systems for daily operation and meet daily production goals.


• Maintain machine, ensuring that the machine is always in proper working condition and can be used to its maximum capacity.


• Inspect and ensure all products are defect free before passing on


• Understand cause and effect, and take appropriate actions, related to high quality bonding and edge appearance for various banding materials (Polypropylene, ABS, PVC), thicknesses, finishes and grains.


• Assist to operate and Maintain systems adjusting Offset, Temperature, Pressure, and Speed as changes in conditions and materials require.


• Assist to operate and maintain glue systems and adhesiveness of materials bring fabricated.


• Operate conveyer and lift table interfaces and control, and integrated robotics.


• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives related to work-flow, 5S and overall efficiency.


• Operate all machinery used in the manufacturing process.


• Lead the productivity, quality and safety of your area.


• Help other areas and personnel as needed.

• Experience or training in 2D and 3D CAD modeling are highly desired but we can train


• Experience and/or training in program creation in CAM software are highly desired by we can train


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to read and understand prints & work orders


• Ability to read tape measure and/or calipers


• Able to work as part of a team and lead safety, quality and productivity 


• Push, pull or lift up to 50lbs and Stand on your feet through duration of your shift.


• Ability to do basic math


• To the “we value experience in Edge banding Machining, particularly HOMAG, Straight Line (contour), and Stefani / Gabbianni High Speed Edgebanding lines.

Working Conditions

• Temperatures ranging from hot and humid to cold


• loud, ear plugs are required


• saw dust 


• Lifting heavy boards, anything more than 50 lbs, two-person lift


• walking, standing, kneeling and bending the entire shift


• safety glasses are required
