If so, this SAP Analyst opportunity may be a great fit for you! Thinking Minds Inc. is seeking a skilled SAP Analyst to work onsite in Richmond, VA, for one of our clients. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in SAP to develop solutions that enhance logistics and materials management operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting SAP solutions, working closely with project teams and end-users to ensure seamless functionality. Your focus will be on improving business processes and addressing technical issues, all while contributing to the ongoing success of the client's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions to support logistics and materials management functions.
  • Collaborate with team members and users to enhance SAP functionalities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system modifications meet performance standards.
  • Document system modifications and enhancements thoroughly to facilitate easy reference and future updates.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to SAP users, ensuring they can efficiently utilize the platform.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to maintain operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to lead and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to tackle complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Familiarity with test plans, system documentation, and user training.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving production challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
