Job Summary: The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial activities and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the company's strategic objectives.

• Key Responsibilities:Printing/Mailing Monthly LAAS(Lighting as a Service) Invoices:
• Generate and distribute monthly invoices for LAAS (Lighting as a Service) clients.
• Submitting Pay Applications for Schneider Projects:
• Prepare and submit pay applications for projects associated with Schneider.
• Reconciling/Booking Debit Card Transactions:
• Manage and reconcile all debit card transactions, ensuring proper booking and accuracy.
• Handling Vendor/Customer Onboarding Requests:
• Oversee the onboarding process for new vendors and customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Daily Cash Reconciliation:
• Perform daily cash reconciliations to monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
• Handling/Monitoring of CommerceOne Credit Facility:
• Manage and monitor the company's credit facility with CommerceOne, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• General Cash Planning:
• Develop and maintain cash planning strategies to optimize the company's liquidity and financial stability.
• Weekly Accounts Payable (AP):
• Oversee the weekly AP process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Creating Monthly LAAS Invoices/Tracking LAAS Payments:
• Generate monthly invoices for LAAS clients and track payments to ensure timely collection.
• Monthly Sales Tax Reporting:
• Prepare and submit monthly sales tax reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Creating Project Invoices:
• Prepare and issue invoices for various projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Commission Reporting and Processing:
• Manage the reporting and processing of sales commissions, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
• Coordinating Tax Preparation with BMSS:
• Work closely with BMSS (accounting firm) to coordinate and prepare tax filings and ensure compliance.
• Annual 1099s:
• Prepare and distribute annual 1099 forms to applicable vendors and contractors.
• Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
