The Benefits Analyst will report to the Benefits Manager in Austin, TX. This role will be responsible for supporting all US-based employees with benefit administration and first-tier benefit inquiries.



Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day administration function for all US health and welfare benefits, leave of absence, and workers' compensation

  • Owner of the new hire onboarding experience for US benefits

  • Manage all benefit compliance items including annual filings, COBRA administration, and ACA Compliance

  • Partner with the payroll team to ensure all benefit deductions and leaves of absence are accurate for each payroll

  • Owner of the benefits invoicing process including completing regular audits

  • Review weekly data file carrier feeds to resolve any errors or discrepancies

  • Maintain all plan docs, policies, and materials for US Benefits

  • Assist with coordination of annual US benefit fairs and Open Enrollment activities including communications

  • Coordinate and support all US wellness events

  • Assist with annual 401(k) audit




Qualifications and Attributes:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years' experience with US benefits, preferably mid-large, high-growth companies

  • Experience with managing open enrollment and plan setup in HRIS - Workday or similar platform is highly preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite - specifically, with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and escalate issues when appropriate
