Responsibilities

  • Provide full account management support for assigned Ahold Delhaize accounts (primarily Food Lion and Hannaford).
  • Manage all aspects of prepaid program for assigned accounts to include leading customer calls, preparing and leading weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings.
  • Develop an annual growth plan and annual marketing/promotional plan for assigned accounts.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key decision makers for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze sales and trends to identify opportunities for product expansion, assortment changes, and planogram (POG) resets.
  • Support new program and product launches and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate and cultivate relationships with key internal teams such as product, sales analytics, channel solutions, billing, warehousing, logistics and merchandising.
  • Work with third party merchandising provider to ensure products remain in-stock and well organized in our retail customers’ stores.
  • Track store openings and closings and maintain the master store list.
  • Maintain program pricebook and other databases.
  • Create operational procedures and best practices.
  • Provide on-going support, troubleshooting, and resolution for store level customer service issues.
  • Ensure there are no barriers to our retail customer’s success and effectively manage issues with the support of the rest of the Ahold Delhaize account team.
  • Partner with Ahold Delhaize on store communications and training for new program and product launches.
  • Manage and track spending of all contract associated funds.
  • Occasional travel required as needed for retailer customer meetings, store and market visits, conferences, and training.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • 3+ years of Account Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree. Significant work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
  • Prepaid or gift card experience preferred but not required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer focused.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across different accounts.
  • Ability to analyze data, use pivot tables, create reports and presentations.
  • Strong understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and applications.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
