Senior Accountant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

One of our mid-sized, growing clients in the accounting advisory space is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing Accounting Advisory practice! This is a great opportunity to join a growing firm while gaining exposure working alongside Senior Leadership.


Responsibilities will be to assist clients with the following, but not limited to:


* Prepare journal entries for monthly close
* Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards.
* Assists with accounting-related projects and accounting research on an as-needed basis
* Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions
* Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders
* Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs


Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience; at least 1 in public accounting required


• CPA or CPA in process required


• Strong passion to help businesses grow and provide trusted advice to clients
