Logistics Specialist (Overnights) at Roth Staffing Companies in Denver, Colorado

Job Description:

Client: Ultimate Staffing's Client (Oil & Gas company)
Position: This is an overnight Logistics Specialist role.
Pay: $60-72k salary with OT



This position follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule

Address: Denver, CO 80202



Schedule:

* Training first 1-3 weeks: Mon-Fri in office 8am-4pm
* Then start overnight schedule, work from home Sunday 6PM-Saturday 6AM
* *Mid-October return to office. Work overnights in office during the week, and weekends will always be work from home


Background and drug screen required.



Qualifications & Requirements:

* 2-5 years in a logistics or trucking dispatch related role
* Dispatch software experience considered an asset
* Prior Frac or oilfield experience considered an asset
* Microsoft Office 365



Logistics Specialist duties:

* Someone direct, proactive, tough skinned problem solver!
* Supporting 24/7 district site
* Strong organization, multitasking & scheduling skills - scheduling loads and backfills of trucks for 1-10 sites at any given time.
* Well versed with Excel & math skills - weight in trucks, number of trucks etc.
* Forward thinking. Reliable. Dependable. Positive. Quick Learner who takes notes.
* Work with 3rd party vendors via phone for truckloads
* Interact heavily with logistics planner - be accessible and ask questions
* Managing sand for fracking projects - requires critical thinking.
* You are paired with a planner, but when things hit the fan, you must be a strong problem solver and good under pressure!
* Someone who moves with urgency. Biggest goal - not having NPT
* Reporting Supply Chain Manager
* Working closely with Training Planner
