Position Title: Cyber Assurance Analyst
Your role
Digital Realty's Cyber Resilience Team is the front line for all things pertaining to our company's digital security posture. Cyber Security Compliance Analyst role involves conducting audits and assessments and assisting with risk management reviews and third-party assessments. In this role, your goal is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of an organization's data and systems. You also work with teams across the organization to identify and mitigate cybersecurity compliance risks and manage reporting on cybersecurity compliance to both internal and external stakeholders. You document the organization's cybersecurity compliance posture in written reports, manage compliance efforts to meet both internal and external deadlines, and help prioritize the most critical compliance gaps to be addressed first.
What you'll do
- Independently drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables supporting compliance monitoring and internal controls activities.
- Conduct and document internal risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, customer obligations and leading frameworks such as NIST and recommend remediation actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Privacy, Legal, IT Infrastructure, Compliance and Operation Departments) to identify and mitigate cyber security risks across IT and OT platforms, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure they support emerging technologies and new regulatory requirements.
- Review of security clauses in customer or third-party contractual documents to ensure compliance and regulatory alignment.
- Conduct and lead assignment of annual security awareness trainings for the company.
- Support development of Security and Non-compliance reporting for senior leadership and recommend remediations, as necessary.
- Conduct and collaborate annual cybersecurity risk assessment as part of enterprise risk assessment efforts.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field from a 4-year accredited university, preferably
- 2-3 Years' Cyber Experience, preferably working within Tech, Telecom, Network Operations, or a related field
- Strong Understanding of Data Center Ops and the ability understand customer needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Auditor experience preferable
- Professional Cyber Security Certifications (CISM/CISSP/GIAC)
- Experience in SOC2, ISO27001, NIST 800-53a, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, SOX
