THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leveraging a broad spectrum of expertise-from hands-on experience in constructing cloud infrastructure to shaping the data strategy of the business-this role positions you at the strategic helm of the company's data transformation journey. Your contributions will be pivotal as the organization embarks on a comprehensive cloud migration and modernization of its data architecture.
In this role, you will:
Lead the Engineering Strategy: Spearhead the development, execution, and oversight of the company's engineering strategy as they transition from SQL-based systems to AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in modernizing and consolidating various data streams into a centralized, scalable architecture that supports the company's long-term objectives.
Engage and Align Senior Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive the evolution of data management within the organization. Your role will involve securing stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of robust data governance frameworks, ensuring that data quality and governance standards are upheld across the business.
Influence and Upskill Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor, guiding the upskilling of the Business Intelligence (BI) team and empowering them to leverage data effectively. You will help the team answer critical business questions and utilize data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making, ultimately driving business growth.

Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in engineering or architectural roles, with a solid background in overseeing data migrations involving Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Python.

Leadership Acumen: Proven experience in leading and managing dynamic teams, effectively structuring and organizing resources to support various business units and accelerate growth.
