Job Responsibilities and Duties • Manage, guide, and mentor a team of network professionals within the Information Technology department. • Management of firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP, and wireless network infrastructure. • Prepare recommendations based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and forensics. • Perform analysis of network needs; be responsible for the design of network architecture, integration, and installation. • Ensure accurate network diagrams and documentation are maintained. • Maintain a high level of expertise in current and emerging technologies. • Develop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the network infrastructure. • Plan and manage the support of new technologies, network performance, and reliability. • Negotiate provisions for new services and pricing with suppliers. • Education/Experience • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required unless waived by Executive Management. • Two (2) years of leadership experience managing enterprise network teams and projects is preferred. • Four (4) years of experience in a Network Engineering role required, or combination of progressive experience and education will be considered. • Experience in Aruba and Cisco based network switching and routing technology solutions. • Extensive knowledge of VPN and next-generation firewall concepts; Palo Alto Networks experience a plus. • Proficient in telecommunications administration and management of enterprise-level VoIP and mobile solutions. • Must be experienced in network infrastructure design, implementation, and the hardening of system security. • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
