Job Description:

This position is an integral part of the team responsible for improving the wellbeing and productivity of the organization's employees. This position assists in the development and delivery of regular open enrollment and/or team-based learning experiences serving individuals and teams from all divisions in our company. This position actively searches for, helps to creatively design, and implement effective methods of education and learning to enhance individual, team and organizational health and performance. This includes preparing, facilitating, and executing the necessary details for our new hire orientation, welcome events, career fairs, ongoing training experiences, and related milestones; along with creating and maintaining resources and scheduling for our programming endeavors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously works alongside the Assistant Manager of Learning & Development to gain a full understanding of the various departments and their specific training objectives aligning with business goals
  • Is fully prepared for each training experience effectively facilitating a high energy, fully engaged classroom experience
  • Participates in support of all aspects of the ambassador program
  • Demonstrates hands on participation in all aspects of the learning experience to include curriculum development, scheduling, preparation, room setup, breakdown and data collection as needed
  • Embraces, designs and implements various types of training materials utilizing a variety of media, including video and e-learning courses
  • Fully participates in the maintenance of a database for all training materials and data collection
  • Participates in follow-up studies of all current Learning and Development programs to evaluate and measure results and modifies where necessary
  • Stays abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies
  • Works effectively with other members of management and the HR staff
  • Supports all needs of the Human Resources team as called upon

Educational/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Three years of experience implementing employee development programs.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Motivated by the adult learning space, with a desire to continually seek information on the latest trends in training and development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate, Brainier, Canva and related program software.
  • Prompt and regular attendance is a requirement of this position.
