Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Sales Incentive Architect located at one of our hub locations or remotely within the United States.

As a Sales Incentive Architect, your main role will be to create, execute, and oversee sales incentive programs aimed at boosting and optimizing sales performance in the company. You'll work closely with sales, finance, and HR teams to grasp business goals, sales strategies, and performance metrics in order to develop and enhance incentive structures.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing sales data, market trends, and competition to ensure the effectiveness and competitiveness of the incentive programs. The Sales Incentive Architect serves as a trusted advisor for the business units, ensuring that their Sales Incentive Plans encourage the right behaviors aligned with strategic priorities. This role involves conducting analyses to demonstrate the effectiveness of those plans and defining and executing recommendations to enhance them.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a profound understanding of sales processes, and the capability to develop and execute innovative incentive solutions. Additionally, you will provide quarterly payout reporting that demonstrates pay factors, trends, tracking to financial accrual, and explanations of outliers. The Sales Incentive Architect role drives the annual SIP planning and quota setting processes successfully and in a timeline manner.

Who will you report to?
  • This position reports to the Director, Incentives and Compensation - US Commercial Operations.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Sales, IT, or related field.

  • 5+ Years' experience in Sales Incentive Administration and Management

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in sales incentives and rewards

  • Project Management

  • Change Management & Implementation

  • Finance Literacy

  • Business Acumen

  • Certified Sales Compensation Professional preferred

  • Process mapping/modeling

  • Quantitative/qualitative research

  • Reporting


Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office programs: Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.

  • SharePoint

  • SQL Queries (basic)

  • Alteryx knowledge (basic)
