Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Reports to: Sr. Mgr. NA Logistics & Customer Partnerships

Location: Hybrid/Office - Westlake, CA

The Role

Support North America Logistics Department and Managers in daily reporting, tracking, and analysis. Provide support on company projects for the Transportation Department. Enhance the import and domestic transportation functions by providing a strong, well-rounded administrative skill set and work ethic. Occasional overtime may be required. Manages a high volume of work in a moderately pressured, but friendly environment. Attention to detail and sense of urgency is critical. Must manage conflicting priorities of various people you support through excellent time management and excellent internal communication.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Import Administration: Work with internal groups and external vendors to deliver, track and report status of import containers, monitor and manage KPI's, execute root cause analysis, inbound freight forecasting and analysis, build meaningful metrics for every cross-functioning performance and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

Program support: Manage the Direct Ship program through data collection and validation, create program guidelines and manuals, manage transport from port to door; manage customer expectations and requirements. Initiate and lead meetings with the appropriate groups within each business unit (internal/external) to remediate any gaps or deficiencies in logistics processes.

Import/Domestic Transport Costs: Work closely with third party billing partners, such as SIQ and Blue Cargo, to track and monitor freight costs. Assure data is being captured timely by reviewing monthly reporting and calling out discrepancies. Partner with Accounting and the Product Costing Teams to discuss assumptions and cost trends. Cross-functional Support,

Training: Provides administrative support for other department managers as necessary. Assists in other clerical, administrative and special projects when necessary. Provide training to internal partners on key logistics processes and Direct Ship customer requirements. Evaluate logistics pricing, provide RFP support and analysis, and coordinate implementations.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably

  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics/distribution concepts and practices; preferably in US Retail to include footwear retailers

  • Experience working effectively in complex organizations, satisfying the needs of cross functional teams, and often working under the pressure of competing priorities


  • Proficiency in use of InforNexus and Oracle EBS systems, or similar

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write/create reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

  • Demonstrated ability with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to navigate through specific web pages and retrieve reports to be handled in Excel

  • Advanced Excel skills preferred (features: power query, macros, pivot tables, charts, v-lookup)

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and vendors

  • Ability to organize and drive consensus in meetings with peers, superiors, and external partners

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing, with exceptional attention to detail

  • Fluency in English

  • Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities

  • High degree of motivation and ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

  • Ability to understand the priorities of numerous individuals in the context of the overall team and to prioritize own work accordingly, while maintaining excellent communications with respect to timelines for completing assignments

$70,000 - $75,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
