BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Closing Specialist/ Mortgage Specialist/ Loan Specialist for an opportunity in Irving, TX!
Position Title: Closing Specialist/ Mortgage Specialist/ Loan Specialist
Location: Irvine, TX
Anticipated Start Date: 09//2024

Expected Duration: 6+ Months
Job Type: Full-time Monday thru Friday
Pay Range: $14.61/hr - $16.51/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Basic Computer Skills.

Job Description:
Provides mortgage document processing in the Post Closing unit following instructions and procedures. Has knowledge and the ability to review a variety of mortgage loan documents which includes notes and allonges. Duties include opening high volumes of mail. Separating, scanning, stapling, filing, sorting, creating files, data entry, quality assurance and maintaining simple to complex records and document retrieval. Could include compiling and checking excel reports, searching and investigating information contained in files. Must have excellent typing and proofreading skills. Understand client provided SLA. The job may be routine and often repetitive. The job often resides in operating units where a high volume of information is being processed and/or maintained. Will require the exercise of some judgment and discretion. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Skills:
Effective communication skills. Basic statistical and record keeping methods. Basic computer skills and mortgage document experience.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
