RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, one of Boston, MA's leading private equity companies is in search of a Finance Associate. The company offers outstanding work experience, an excellent compensation plan and the chance to work with some of the best people in the industry.

The candidate will provide financial support to Fund Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Investor Relations teams through the timely and accurate completion of investment and financial reporting.

Summary:
In this role, the candidate has a -can do- attitude, and must be able to prioritize and complete all projects given to them by their deadlines while ensuring each one is completed according to the guidelines.

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of various funds

  • Finance Associate will review fund administrator's work on various funds

  • All accounting, reporting, and compliance of assigned funds

  • Administration of these funds: prepare, coordinate, calculate capital calls and distributions

  • Work with Investor Relations group in preparing fundraising offering materials and in providing information for due diligence requests, including fund performance data, fee information and underlying portfolio financial information

  • As a Finance Associate, you will work closely with the firm's outside auditor in preparation of year-end audited financials

  • Work with tax group in preparing quarterly tax estimates as well as year-end tax allocations

  • Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various funds

  • Track interest payment receipts across portfolio

  • Account for daily activity in the general ledger and portfolio accounting system







REQUIREMENTS:



  • BSBA

  • 3+ years of related industry experience

  • Strong technical GAAP Accounting

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Exposure to Investran, Black Mountain or other similar investment software

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and detail-oriented team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities

  • CPA and prior experience with Big 4 accounting firm is a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
