Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Print Assistant. Based in Malta.

How you will make an impact:
The Print Assistant is responsible for supplying the machines with paper, ink and all the necessary consumables, destack intaglio printed work from the planks, ensure reams are properly knocked up and follow the priorities as instructed by the Print Shift Manager. S/he will be responsible for own/others safety, safe handling of chemicals, upkeep of the equipment and cleanliness of the department.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Sets up and operates equipment.
- Ensures that all machinery is kept clean.
- Ensures materials and supplies are available as required.
- Replenishes workstations with supplies.
- Ensures that operational transactions are recorded in a time;y manner.
- Ensures that all paper and consumables are properly recorded.
- Assists with recycling and disposal of unused material at end of shift.
- Assists in other areas of operations when needed.
- Identifies cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities without compromising quality.
Required:
- Possesses the ability to form part of an autonomous maintenance team.
- Minimum ‘O’ level standard of education.
- Be computer literate.
- Possess the ability to understand, read, write and communicate in English.
- Possess forklift driving licence.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary Diploma/certificate in printing.
